Hi there by trying to change the account type I had created with a different email address I closed it and now I can't get logged in. This is the error I got and I can't get to see where in the world the support is given. Also I can't even PM a moderator or so says I don't have such permission.
This email address is associated with an inactive account. Contact Upwork Support if you want to use this email address or register with another email address.

I have similar issue, I have created an account with un email A. It was both Client and Freelancer. I wanted to get rid of the Freelancer account, and close the account. Turn out that Both account (Client and Freelancer) were closed.
I try to sign up again with the same email A and got this message: "This email address is associated with an inactive account. Contact Upwork Support if you want to use this email address or register with another email address."
In order to log in and have a support, I have to create another account with email B (the one I am currently using right now). I found those thread from person who faced the same issue and try to PM Upwork Moderator 'Bojan S' but Access was denied. I got this message: "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."
