Entering my city

I live in the Philippines but I'm from the UK. Preferrably I'd like to have my Philippines location when applying for a job so they are more aware of my time zone. But when I submit a proposal it asks me to update my address? When updating my UK address it is asking me to enter my city. I don't live in a city I'm from a small town, Heathfield and it doesn't recgonise either that or the county I'm from, East Sussex. First of all, why is my Philippines address not recognised as a valid address even though its already submitted? And if I change it to UK why can't it be under my hometown? Thanks
