Hi dears,
I am new to Upwork. Hopefully it would be a perfect experience as i anticipate.
Kindly answer the followings regarding the Escrow Payments:-
1) Is this type of payment limited to Direct Contracts and/or Clients that specify this method of payment?
2) Do i have to open an account with Escrow? or will Upwork auto-link my Upwork account with Escrow?
3) Accordingly, when the payment is released to me, will it be diposited into my Uplink Account or will it be directly transfered to my international account (Wire transfer)
Appreciate your cooperation

Hi Hussein,
Thank you for your question. Escrow payments are available with Direct contracts or Fixed-Price contracts. You can learn more about how Escrow is used to protect your payments here. You do not need to open any additional accounts. Upwork handles the depositing of funds into the escrow account. When the client releases payment, there is a five-day security hold and then the funds are available in your Upwork account. From there, you may withdraw them to your bank. I suggest you check out this article about getting paid for fixed-price contracts.
I hope this helps!
