Freelance Plus membership cancellation questions?

I'd like to cancel a freelance plus membership and avoid, additional billing while maintaining the connects that have been already purchased. 

Please advise the best actions or timing to achieve the desired results.

It does not matter when you cancel, your Plus membership will simply run out at the end of your billing cycle, no matter whether you cancel now or 10 minutes before it ends.

It also makes no difference to your connects.
