Freelancer VS Agency

Hi,

We just submitted our profile to UPWORK.

We are a small agency and I am the only writer in the company.

I’ve noticed that there are some job posts that decline to work with agencies. Do you know what might be the reason ?

Also I have seen that I can apply either as myself or my agency to jobs.
If I apply as my self the invoicing will be done to me as a personal activity or can I invoice from my company ?

Many thanks in advance,

Best,

Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,

Yes, if you are a non-exclusive member of the agency, you can either send proposals as an independent freelancer or under your agency. If you get a contract under the agency, the client will be billed on your agency's behalf and the payment will go to your agency account.

Check out this help articles and articles linked in it for more information about agencies.
