Getting started on Upwork can take a lot of work and focus. To help make this process a little easier, we’ve created this post where you can request feedback on your profile. The community is full of experienced Upwork freelancers who are passionate about helping others. These users will review your profile and provide feedback based on their experience.

If you’re interested in requesting help, make sure your profile visibility is not set to “Private” and then reply below.

Your write-up is very busy and passionate. It has tons of enthusiasm and makes lots of promises. I kind of love it.

On the other hand, I am not a big fan of all those icons or emoji symbols. (I don't know what to even call them.)

to me, all those little check marks and symbols are a messy distraction. You're a writer, so trust your writing. Let the words have their chance.

But that's just me. I'm old school. I was raised in the grand, old days of typewriters. So what do I know? 
It's just a matter of taste. For me, it looks cluttered. But to someone younger it probably looks standard.

I still love the enthusiasm. Its friendly as can be, so that is a big plus.

My first thought was that your write-up was about twice the length it should be. This is clearly a place where less is more.

My second thought is that I really don't like rhetorical questions. So, I would delete that entire first paragraph. 

Clients already know they are "struggling with Excel sheets ..." etc. So why are you asking them that? That first paragraph is just a waste of your client's time.

Then take out that paragraph near the end that starts with "As you can see from my client's feedback ..."

If they can see it, why are you pointing that out to them? Your clients aren't children.  They can see it. They read it. Why are you belaboring the point?

If you take out those two paragraphs you will find you haven't lost a thing. If you take out the first paragraph, clients might actually read enough to get to those terrific quotes you posted. Those are great. Don't make it so it's difficult or time consuming to get to the best part of your write-up (those great reviews). 

You seem very friendly, which is absolutely great, but after too much bragging, it just gets tiresome.

When you don't have any client reviews to point to, what is lacking is the confidence clients need to hire you. Without those reviews from previous clients, you have to supply that confidence yourself.

Your profile isn't terrible, but you might want to add more. Use words like "experienced," "succesfull," "great feedback from previous employers."  Use words that instill confidence. "Excellent track record ..." or "high response rate ..."

Also, use  those words in reference to your work, not yourself. It doesn't matter that you're motivated, what matters is that you "get the job done" or that you "always hit deadlines." 

Whatever adds confidence will help.

Excellent write up. Here's a trick that might help: Take that really great endorsement quote, cut and paste it so it's the first thing in your write up (which is excellent, as I said). Anyway, in this manner the first thing people will read is a quote from someone who hired you and thought you were well worth the money. 

As it is, I wouldn't touch a word otherwise.
