Hi Waqas,
The first thing you should do is change your profile photo. The picture in your photo should be a close-up image of your head and shoulders that clearly shows your face. Read through Upwork's best practices for How to Choose A Good Profile Picture.
Based on the information in your overview/summary, you sound like a recruiter. A more focused title could be: Human Resources Recruiter or Human Resources Coordinator or HR Staffing Manager.
I recommend revising the first part o your summary to focus on the services you provide. You summary starts with the focus on you when the focus should be on clients and how you can help them. You easily make this adjustment by moving content from the bottom to the top. For example:
I help professionals locate new and challenging career opportunities, and assist companies in finding qualified, highly skilled talent to fulfill their hiring needs. |
The first 200-250 characters of your summary are shown in search results, so you want clients to see their goals (your services) first. Also, add blank lines between paragraphs in your summary to make it easier for clients to read.
Add a portfolio to show samples of previous work or to demonstrate your skills. The portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression on potential clients. If you don’t have relevant examples to add to your portfolio, you can create items that demonstrate your skills.
Add short job descriptions to each job in your employment history. A job description is especially important when the job is highly relevant to the services you provide on Upwork.
Good luck!

Hello. I am very eager to start earning money on Upwork. I recently received my first order and was very happy. But I can't get the second order. No one has yet confirmed the orders I'm applying for. Please check my profile. I will be infinitely grateful for any comments and advice.
Feb 24, 2024 07:13:37 PM by Anastasiia H
Thank you. I hadn't even noticed. I've already fixed it. Profile is public
Feb 24, 2024 07:22:14 PM by Anastasiia H
Could this be due to the fact that the profile visibility was changed in the application? And the profile visibility has not been updated

Stuck in some reason.
You can test is resolved by opening your profile link in incognito mode. Without logon. If shown then all good.

Hello, Mykola! My profile has already been updated and has become public. Please review when you get a chance.
Feb 25, 2024 08:27:56 AM by Clark S
Anastasiia,
Your profiile is public now.
I looked through each section and I have a few suggestions that might help improve it:
Title: Capitalize the first letter of each word in your title; this will help it stand out when clients see it in searches: Landscape Architect | 3D Artist
Overview/Summary: There is good information in your summary, but it doesn't go far enough to convince clients to hire you. Landscape architecturing is an involved process, so clients will expect more details about your services and how you can help them.
When clients search for freelancers, only the first 200-250 characters of your summary are shown. This means you have very little space to get their attention. You want clients to see their goals (your services) in this small space; your skills and background information can follow. Here's an example:
I am a licensed landscape designer with 7 years of experience designing outdoor spaces and urban greening with a focus on creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable environments. I have deep knowledge of dendrology and use Realtime Landscaping Architect, AutoCAD, Archicad, SketchUp, 3dsmax and Corona Render to create detailed 2D and 3D landscape designs.
I have worked in Kyiv, Ukraine with residential complexes "Respublika", "Faina Town" and "UNIT City." This experience has allowed me to develop a proven process for creating 3D renderings of the interior and exterior of complex structures.
(Now, add more substance that gives clients more reasons to choose you. For example:
|
Portfolio: As a landscape architect/3D artist, it's absolutely critical to have a portfolio. Add a portfolio to show samples of previous work or to demonstrate your skills. The portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression and all clients will expect to see three or four samples from a landscape/3D artist. If you don’t have relevant examples to add to your portfolio, you can create items that demonstrate your skills.
Your skills, project catalog and employment history look good. The biggest improvements you can make is your overview/summary and portfolio.
Good luck!

Please review my profile and please provide me with your valuable feedback to improve my profile
Feb 25, 2024 08:53:55 AM by Clark S
Mohammad,
The updates from the previous review look good.
If you can find a way to add Full-Stack Development to your skills it would be great. We are allowed only 15 skill categories, so you would have to remove one to add Full-Stack Development. I would probably remove Front-End Development and replace it with Full-Stack Development since full-stack includes front-end development. Plus, you use "full-stack developer" in your title and summary, and Upwork looks for synergy between your title, summary, and skills list.

I have made the corrections. And Also Thank you for your Feedback.

Hey seniors,
Hope you all are doing well.
I created my Upwork profile in 2021 and got some orders but then I found some local and international clients via Facebook, so I left Upwork.
But now I want to work on Upwork. I have completed my profile 100% and sent proposals but still not getting any responses. Kindly share your precious advice, What should I do? Please take a look at my profile and let me know where I can be better. Also, I think my writing skills are not that good, I can't convince clients enough. Any tips for that too?

Hi, I see you've got 2 job great!
I'm have a client profile. From my perspective, this what I think :
- increase your price to $10/hr. I think$6 is too low. $10 is low but feels like I will get at least some reasonably good work. At $6 I'm kind of scared to hire you.
- change your portfolio pictures that reflect your graphic design skills (the ones with the before and after). As a client I expect that you have graphic design skills which is why you have a profile here. What I want to see is the business cards, fliers, logos, brochures have you made. (Pick the ones you want to work, If you're not specific then take 4 types and work on those. ) They don't even have to be things you have made for a client, they could be your own version of things around you. Design them, print them then take great photos and put them up OR put up the finished soft copy. Be truthfull to the client though if they ask if they were for clients on upwork. Truthfullness and politeness really helps here because that's all we have to judge if we can work with you.
Hope this helps.

Hi
Could you please let me know what improvements need to be made to my profile? Thank you
Feb 25, 2024 06:40:59 AM Edited Feb 25, 2024 06:41:48 AM by Hussein M
Hi Hotensia D
I am new freelancer here like you. I am doing my best to develop my profile.
My tips for you
1, Build Strong Overview that is related to your skill.
2, Set good Portfolio, It is crucial when clients check your account.
3, Choose your specific skill, Don't run after a lot of professions. If you do, You'll never get any.
This is what I get from senior freelancers
Thank You

I would appreciate if anyone would take a look at my profile and suggest some improvements?
Feb 25, 2024 10:34:05 AM by Clark S
Damilola,
Very nice profile. Your overview/summary is informational and your portfolio, skills, certification, and employment history look great.
I do not see much that can be improved to convince clients to hire you.
You might want to add a project catalog. The project catalog allows you to setup a pre-packaged service that clients can buy without you sending a proposal. Due to higher than usual requests for project catalogs, reviews and approvals are taking a minimum of 10 business days. Read Get Started With Project Catalog for more information.
Good luck!
