Getting started on Upwork can take a lot of work and focus. To help make this process a little easier, we’ve created this post where you can request feedback on your profile. The Community is full of experienced Upwork freelancers who are passionate about helping others. These users will review your profile and provide feedback based on their experience.

As proofreading is he main service you offer, you need to proofread your profile. You haven't capitalized the title of a book you mention in it. Also, you should work at the rate you advertise in your profile. You say it's $20 an hour, but you proofread a 75,000-word book for $10. Your rates need to be consistent.

I checked out your profile and I've got a couple of tips to make it better. First of all the pricing of your services is too small and looks cheap. I personally would start with at least $10/hour. The next thing I noticed was your profile description. In my opininion it has too much promises like (I will meet the deadline, I will provide a lot of things) and that simply looks like you are trying to justify why someone should order from you. 

In my opinion a strong description should consist of your experience, past-works and why you are better and more unique than other sellers. Simply your profile is too generic and "Perfect" for a real person.

Looks really good to me. Very well written. I'm sure you'll get some more jobs. 

One small thing is to remember that searching clients only see the top few lines of your profile so maybe cut 'Hello'and move the crucial information up.

I'm sorry to hear you have the challenge of winning a project here on Upwork! This might be related to your profile being set to private. 

When a profile is private, it won't appear in search results, so the Clients won't be able to see it. Consider switching to "Upwork Users Only" or "Public".
