Nicely done. I think your write-up is terrific. Now you have to get a few quick contracts and make sure you have easy ones that will give you great reviews. Also, call Upwork and see if that one bad review can be withdrawn somehow.

Your profile is great. Too bad about whatever client gave you a bad review. That often happens when you're new, because you have to stay away from certain typesd of clients. You found a bad apple that's for sure.

Nice write-up. You might want to raise your rates, however. Low rates tend to invite scammers or amateurs, who tend to steal your money, not pay or give terrible reviews just because they're in a bad mood.

I think your profile is terrific, but there's one paragraph that is really not recommended.

That's the paragraph that starts with "Why me? ... 100% customer satisfaction."

Never write "100% customer satisfaction." If you write that, clients will come up with the tiniest little excuse and not pay you or give you a lousy review if you disappoint them even in the slightest. So take that out. Don't worry. People have high enough expectations without you promising perfection.

Never write "Free support even after completion of the project." Don't you realize what you just said -- you will work for free even without a contract!!! That is compoletely nuts.

Never write "Customer support 24/7 and reply within minutes."  In the first place, that isn't even close to true. You have to sleep. You have to eat. So, right away you are lying to your clients. They will also see this as you being very weak, unable to say no.

Saying "no" is a very important step in any career. Notice all the managers in the world know how to say "no." Anyone who says "I will work 24/7 for free ..." is someone who doesn't know how to say "no." You are doomed to work at the bottom rung of the ladder until you understand this.

Never write "Can schedule a zoom meeting to discuss about the project." Upwork has a rule that you may NOT make contact with a client except through Upwork channels until a contract is signed. Upwork has its own Zoom-like application. The way your offer reads, it sounds like you are willing to contact clients on Zoom before or after you sign a deal with them and that is strictly forbidden here. Yes, this is because Upwork wants to protect revenues, but whatever the reason, it is unnecessary to contact anyone involved in Upwork through Zoom.

In short, take out that entire paragraph. Everything else looks terrific.

OK, geez, there's a lot there. 

First, there is nothing wrong with your write up -- per se. But from a marketing point of view, you've got a very tricky problem. 

My point is that it's hard to present yourself as an expert in two different things. Business writing and business consultancy works, but the creative writing comes out of left field. It's kind of like saying "I fix cars and I can also design websites." It just doesn't come across that well.

I guess I would advise just focuting on business and put, at the end, a paragraph that says "I also write short stories and am available for creative wtiting projects ...." But throwing them in together a bit like oil and vinegar. They don't really match up well.

First, your write up is great. It has all the right touch points ... 

Two things, though. One, you need some paragraph breaks, at least two. You've got a solid block of writing there that hasn't enough what they call white space. Two paragraph breaks should do it.

Second: You haven't used the word "you" in your write up. That's the customer. It helps if you show you are thinking about them.

"You will recieve publication-ready copy on time ..." Or "I can edit your fiction project or your business proposals ..." 

Anything that uses the word "you." That will help.

Lastly, nice picture, but it's too dark. Something brighter with a background that has a nice contrast.

It's great that you're motivated, energetic, bright and all of that ... but that's not what you are selling. You're not selling your motivation, etc. You're selling your skills as a problem solver and customer service rep, etc.

You need to lead with that. "I am a skilled and experienced customer service rep who can respectfully and optimistically represent your company ..." 

The idea is to describe your work, not yourself. That's a stronger pitch. Everyone is motivated, honest, trustworthy, hard working ... or they think they are. So describing yourself just rings hollow. Anyway, you get the idea. Cool photo, by the way.
