Getting started on Upwork can take a lot of work and focus. To help make this process a little easier, we’ve created this post where you can request feedback on your profile. The community is full of experienced Upwork freelancers who are passionate about helping others. These users will review your profile and provide feedback based on their experience.

Hello Arun,

Your overview/summary and portfolio look good, but you need to change your photo and add more skill categories to your skills list.

The picture in your photo should be a close-up image of your head and shoulders that clearly shows your face. Read through Upwork's best practices for How to Choose A Good Profile Picture.

We are allowed up to 15 skills, and there are many more an artist/illustrator could add. It is important to keep your skills list updated with relevant skills categories so that Upwork can match you with relevant jobs, and so your profile will appear when clients search for your skills.

Once you make these updates, I think your profile will look better to clients and your job matches should be better.

I think your profile looks good. The only two suggestions I have is to add a very important skill category to your skills list: Full-Stack Development and add a short job description to your position at Keshav. We are allowed up to 15 skills and it looks like your main profile has 14. The reason to add Full-Stack Development is because it syncs with your title and summary. This will Upwork match you with relevant jobs and help your profile appear when clients search for your skills.

Everything else looks fine. I do not see any problems that would prevent a client from hiring you.

I think your profile looks pretty good. Your overview/summary is quite long and most clients will never read it all, but the information is valid.

I recommend removing the first line of your summary: "Full Stack Web Developer | React JS, Shopify, and WordPress Expert" Why? Because only the first two sentences of your summary are shown to clients in searches, which means you have small window of opportunity to grab their attention. You want to use that small window to show clients that you can mee their needs. There is no need to repeat your title in the first line.

I would also add short job descriptions to each job in your employment history.

Everything else looks great.

I looked through your profile and I think everything is good. Your overview/summary is well-written and gives prospective clients enough information to understand how you can help them.

My only suggestion for your profile is to add a portfolio to show samples of your work. Clients like visuals and the portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression on potential clients. It can be difficult for an auditor/bookkeeper to showcase samples, but if you can think of any audit documents, reports,  software applications, etc. to show, it might help clients better understand the tools and resources you use.

The other areas of your profile look good. I do not see any problems that would prevent a client from hiring you.
