The client asked me for my name and phone number just to get a google verification code, and that's it that would be the job. Does it sound sketchy or legit?

I don't find a job to be legit when no work is involved.

It sounds extremely sketchy to me. To me it sounds like they're trying to get your personal info and Google verification code so that they can hack into your Google account.

Hi Kinsey,
Ask the client to use Voip Numbers and don't share your personal number. The client is trying to verify a Google business listing on your number.
