Having trouble completing the job

Hi

I am new to upwork and got my first job landed. I finished the task and sent the work through upwork messages, I can't figure out how to mark the job complete and request payment. What do I do?

Where do I find the Submit work/request payment button for an hourly job?

There is no submit work button for an hourly job.  What kind of contract did you have with the client?

It was a fixed pay for less then an hour job. I sent the finished docs through upwork messages, now I am not sure that I was suppose to do it that way. The client has not contacted me back.
