Headshot upload error

My headshot won't upload properly - the image is sideways (rotated left or right) when I add it, then after cropping, it says there was an error in uploading. Please help!

Hi Renee Marie,

If the picture you are trying to upload was taken using a smartphone, the file may have some meta data attached to it. A Community member has shared this site with instructions to resolve this issue before. Hope this will help.

Has anyone figured out a solution when the image gives numerous responses whne trying to upload a head shot? I'm getting image isn't big enough, so I resize, erroe loading image, so I try to crop, nothing is working. The image has a wooded backgorund of trees. Anyway would love some help. Thanks!

Hi Meissa, 

That's really a nice photo! Could you please try uploading a different photo with a basic background to see if this should resolve the issue? 

I usually recommend a passport-type photo where it's a clear headshot of yourself, showing your face clearly. Let me know if this works.
