Sorry I haven't introduced myself properly. My name is Louise Pare-Lobinske, and I have been working on Upwork on and off for almost two years now, but I'm getting more serious.

This is what I got in my messages from a prospective client to whom I had sent a proposal:

I've had a few clients as me to sign up to some of their systems which helps them manage stuff better. As long as you're still being secured by Escrow when you begin working and you're happy with the prices they offer you, it is not necessarily a scam. Just make sure you do not give away too much personal information other than a name and email address.
