Hourly Contract

Please I have an hourly contract. I haven't had one before. I am using my phone for the job, must I use a desktop for the automatic time tracker to work? Please explain to me how hourly contract works. I don't know how to turn on the automatic timer. Also mamanual tracker doesn't have Upwork protection. Please help I need to start work immediately

You need to use a computer (laptop or desktop) to use the tracker. Do NOT use manual time because you will have no protection and this should be reserved for clients you know well and trust completely (and even then you could end up not getting paid)

No. It is not required.

I highly recommend it.

But you already understand the risks associated with using manually-logged time.
