How Do I Refund A Client?

I tried to refund my client back the $122 he put in escrow but I'm not sure how to do that because he never requested for a refund. Due to school obligations, I'm not sure when I'll be able to complete his project, so I'm voluntarily refunding him and plan to complete it at my own time for a lesser payment.

Hi Alexis,

Your client can end the contract to request an escrow refund. However, if you both have agreed to continue working together on the project, the client has the option to release a partial payment if you have offered to receive a lower fee than what was originally agreed upon.
