How Milestone Fees are calculated?

Let's suppose I have a contract with a client,  and this client paid for me for two milestones
the first milestone is 500$
the second milestone is 500%

So the fees are taken for the whole 1000% (20% + 10%)?

Or For every 500, 20% fee will be deducted ??

20% will be deducted from the first $500, and 10% after that. 

BTW, you're required to use a real photo of yourself in your profile, not a cartoon.

Yes, I'm trying to change my photo and my account verification, and if you can tell me about VAT please, it is will be deducted for each milestone also?
