How and where to estimate the whole work $ per hour

I'm new to Upwork. when I browse a job and propose a rate eg: 15$/hr.
For the entire work, where do i mention to the client, the number of hours that it will take to complete the whole work.

Hi Sowmya,

When you're sending a proposal on hourly jobs you will only be able to add the rate you would like to be paid per hour. Other details, like how many hours you will need or any questions you may have you can list them in your cover letter or discuss them with your client in your message room if they accept your proposal.
You will need to complete your application and your profile up to 100% before you're able to send a proposal. Thank you.
