How can I find jobs that don't require a success score when I haven't had a job yet?

Hey guys!

I'm new to UpWork and I don't seem to be able to find any jobs that I can apply for because I have no success rating. How can I search for such jobs? I really want to prove myself  please help 🙂 Thanks!

Hi Natalie, Welcome to Upwork! Success rating is based on direct client feedback and other indicators of client satisfaction. You can apply jobs in Upwork even if you don't have the success rating yet. Here's a very helpful article on how you can enhance your feelancer profile. Add necessary skills, certifications, portfolio, and the like to make your profile stand out to potential clients. Please also check some Sample Profile as a reference.

Success Score or Rising Talent are merely suggestions, not requirements.  Remember, no one new to the platform has either.  Be sure that your profile and your proposals highlight your experience and expertise and you will do well.
