How can I know that my profile is approved?

Hello,

 

  1. I would like to know if my profile has been aprroved....?
  2. Can you not have a status marker in the profile information so new users know whether or not they have been approved?

Hi all,

It looks like you haven't submitted your profile for a review yet. Please, log into your account on Upwork.com, make sure all the fields are completed and then click Review Application at the bottom of the page.

IT says : If your profile is approved, it will become the public profile you’ll use to market your freelance business to clients (you can edit it after approval)

I checked your account and I can see that you are yet to submit your profile for review. You need to click the review application button to make sure you did not miss any section of the profile creation process. Any portion that is highlighted in red needs to be filled-in. Please review your application and update the missing fields to be able to submit your profile for review.

 

Once you submit your profile, it takes at least 24 to 48-hours for the process to complete and you will be notified via email about your account.

Btw, there is a conflict with Chrome autofill and your dropdown list when you type in your city. Found a workaround but some people may get confused.

I have entered all my detais more than 24 hours back but still my account is not active .

Just to confirm that your application haven't been submitted for a review, if you`re ready please go to the bottom of the page and click on Review Application.
If you`re directed back to the same page please try clearing your cache and cookies or logging in with another browser. Thank you.

Yes, looks like you successfully submitted your application for the review. The review process takes 24 hours from the time you submitted your profile for review. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email and a notification to your Upwork account to update you about your approval status.

I have an account before with Odesk but can’t retrieved my log ins. I filled out information to start again with upwork. I am not sure if it was approved.

after 24hrs from the time you submitted your profile, you will receive an email from upwork  stating if your account is approve or not.

 

Or you can log in to your account and you will see a message banner stating if your account is approved or rejected.

I am new to upwork and stuck at the profile page. I completed everything, but there is no submit button and can't get past the create profile page. There are 3 buttons: review application, create a client account instead or delete my account. I clicked several times on review application but after refreshing the page nothing happens. Please help.

I’ve had a profile with Upwork for years and had to redo my profile for acceptance. I never got an email confirming that my profile is being reviewed. Is there a way for you to check for me? I keep seeing the screen attached. I keep pressing review application but nothing seems to be happening. Help please!

This is my second time applying and I found no response the first time as well...

Your profile is incredibly empty and really you'd be lucky to have it approved with hardly anything on it.

Getting approved is only the first step, most people are rejected, and the majority of those who are approved never win a single job.

Your profile does not look like you spent any time on it or particularly care, so why would clients hire you?

Research successful freelancers in your category, to see what a great profle looks like. Complete all sections. Add a portfolio
