How can I know that my profile is approved?

Hello,

 

  1. I would like to know if my profile has been aprroved....?
  2. Can you not have a status marker in the profile information so new users know whether or not they have been approved?

Hi all,

This thread has been closed from further replies due to its size. Please know that you can check if your profile has been approved on your end by trying to submit a proposal. If you’re able to submit proposals, it means your profile was approved!

Hi, I am currently creating an account. When I click "Review Application", the page does not charge ant it's always "Create your profile". What can I do to make it reviewed?

I'm not able to Submit my Profile.

I have completed it, but when I hit the Reviw Application button, it just reloads the screen and keeps me in edit view.

Please help?

Hi Zain,

 

I just checked this for you and it looks like your successfully submitted your application for the review. The review process takes 24 hours from the time you submitted your profile for review. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email and a notification to your Upwork account to update you about your approval status.

Your account has been accepted. You should be able to send proposals to jobs on the general marketplace. Please, make sure you check resources in this post to help you get started.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried doing those things and also tried completeing the form from the mobile app. I still see the same profile page with review application button.

Joanne Marie P,  I have first tried submitting from a computer (also attached a screenshot in my previous post). Have tried different browsers: Chrome, FireFox and Safari but I see the same page.

You will need to add your city in your address in order to be able to submit your application. When you`re ready please go to the bottom of the page and click on Review Application. Thank you.

It's been a week I didn't any status about approval of my application. It will be really helpful if someone guide me out. What should I do now to get my approval status ?

I checked your account and can see that you are yet to submit it for review. You are also yet to fill-in your City field in the address section of your account application. When you click on Review Application, all the things highlighted in red needs to be reviewed. Once you have updated your profile accordingly, you can submit it for the team’s review. Please know that profile reviews may take from 24-48 hours.

Hi Niharika,

 

At the moment you`re an exclusive member of your agency, this means that you can work only on projects under the agency.
If you would like to work as an independent freelancer as well the agency owner will need to change your status to Non-Exclusive member. Thank you.
