I opened an account last week and I've completed my profile to the best of my abilities.
Even uploaded articles on my portfolio and sent proposals to clients but I still haven't gotten an email telling me my profile has been verified.
I still get emails telling me to complete my profile.
I'm not sure what else to do to ensure my profile gets verified.

If you are a newbies in upwork, you need to enter your information rightly before upwork can approve your account. Approval is within 24hrs. Sometimes it doesn't take up to that depends on how accurate your information were entered.
