How can I know that my profile is approved?

Hello,

 

  1. I would like to know if my profile has been aprroved....?
  2. Can you not have a status marker in the profile information so new users know whether or not they have been approved?

This thread has been closed from further replies due to its size. Please know that you can check if your profile has been approved on your end by trying to submit a proposal. If you’re able to submit proposals, it means your profile was approved!

Hi Jonah,

 

Thanks for reaching out to us. Just to confirm that your application hasn't been submitted for a review, if you`re ready please go to the bottom of the page and click on Review Application.
If you`re directed back to the same page please try clearing your cache and cookies or logging in with another browser.

I checked and it seems that your application is still not being submitted. Seems that you are missing a City under your Location. Please correct all the errors and try submitting the application again.

Okej great.

I manged to submit now. Now it is under review it says, when is it expected to be done?

I haven't received any reply email either. I submitted my profile for approval and it directly opened my "Find Work" page.

Has my profile been approved?

Hello,

How long does it take for an account to be approved? Also, if i previously closed an account, can it be reopened? Help section was not useful as you have to log in to get it.

To clarify are you asking about your own profile? At the moment I see that your account is approved. To answer your second question, yes we can help you restore that account provided that it wasn't closed because of any violation. Let me know if there's anything else.

Hello Riri,

Thank you for the fast response. Yes, we are talking about my new account. I recently had a past client through Upwork reach out to me via LinkedIn desiring more services. I could not figure out how to reactivate the old account, so I created the new one. I closed the account due to new work from outside Upwork needing my attention.

If you can apply for a job , it means you are approved

for identity verification badge, they will send invite later

I did Propose for a job,
is my profile approved ?

will the client be able to view my profile ?

I submitted my profile application a couple of weeks ago and it is still not approved.  Is there another way to find out if/when it is approved?

It looks like you haven't submitted your profile for a review yet. Please, make sure all the fields are completed and then click Review Application at the bottom of the page. Our team will reach out to you with the results within 24 hours.

Hi Bojan,

I have hit the review button several times...just did it again and now it is saying that something went wrong and to contact support 🙂

It has consistently asked me to retype the city I am located in and I do that and hit "review" each time.  After I hit the review button the city goes blank again.  Message on top of the screen indicates that if I am approved I will be notified.

I created my upwork account and I submitted for approval. I just logged in now to see if it was approved and I saw this message:**Edited for community guidelines**

The message is showing at the top of my profile page and it has clickable links for me to see what needs to be changed. On clicking them it keeps saying the page you are looking for does not exist.

I'd like to know what needs to be changed so I can change it. Please help me out here.
