How can one buy connects without using visa mastercard or paypal?

My pressing question is: How can I buy more connects if I am residing in a country where visa, mastercard, or paypal payment systems are not used?

Is there any other way? I mean like me sending money from my local bank or the upwork showing me another alternative where I can work with the local bank to do the transfer?

If you have a balance on your Upwork account (i.e. funds that you haven't withdrawn yet), you can use that to pay for connects.

What if I am a new freelancer who has used all my connects proposing and have not accumilated any balance yet? That is the my real case actually...
