How do I get people to trust me me with jobs

Hello everyone, I can't seem to have any of my proposal turn into interviews. Even though there are jobs that very little people apply to it ( Less than 5 proposals for 2 hours ) and I have the right skillset for it ( Vietnamese translator to be exact ). People would rather have no interview at all than giving me a chance... Am I doing something wrong with my proposal/profile? Any help would be appreciated. I finished my first job with great feedback and thought it's going to be easier after that...
