How long do proposals usually take to get processed?

Hey everyone! 

I'm new to Upwork, and I've submitted about 5 proposals in the past 2 days. I was just wondering how long it usually takes for clients to get back to you on your proposals?

Most of the time they only get back to the people they want to interview.

It could take weeks or months before anyone gets back to you with an offer. If you really want to freelance here, you'll need to buy more connects (I assume that you've run out) and keep bidding on any jobs for which you're a uniquely good fit.
