How to accept offer?

I have a client who wants to work with me but he says I need to accept the offer and I don't know how to do that. Does he need to do something or do I need to do something? I submitted a proposal but the only options I see are change terms and withdraw.

Hi Ryan. The client needs to send you a formal offer through Upwork. If he's already done that you should see the job offer in your Upwork Messages (app or web page). You should also receive an email notification. Each of those should have a button you click to go to the full details of the offer.  Check the details carefully,   and if you're happy with them,  click the Accept button.

 

If you haven't received a formal offer through Upwork, then either the client didn't send one or something has gone wrong. Hopefully a forum moderator will check for you. 

I went into the Offer screen after getting the email. The page has 3 parts:

1st part has Status,  Contract Title, Offer Expires, etc.

2nd part suppose to have something, but it is blank (I am attaching the copy of the screen that it shows)

3rd part has Milestones, Amount, Dates Due

 

There is no 'Accept' button/link.

Am I doing something wrong or the client made the offer post incorrectly?

Thanks, Bojan for suggestion.

I use MS Edge (latest version) for my Upworks. I cleared the cookies and cache and logged out, but was still getting the error. I decided to try Chrome and it worked! There were all the buttons and I was able to click on 'Accept'. Does it mean that I cannot use MS Edge for Upworks?

A client sent me an offer this morning and there absolutely no way to accept it? Is this a glitch in the system? I've been working through UpWork for 3 years and never encountered this. My client is sitting there waiting for me to accept the offer and I have absolutely no idea what to do.

Hi Susan,

 

I'm sorry to hear about that. You should be able to accept the offer by clicking on the 'View details' in messages with your client and clicking on the green 'Accept Offer' button as shown in this screenshot. You can get to the same page from the My Jobs > All Contracts and clicking on the offer. Are you receiving any errors while trying to do so? Could you please share a screenshot so we can take a look?
