How to ask payment from employer that is unresponsive

Hi,

This is the first time I've tried Upwork and it's not a pleasant experience for me. Hope this will change once my issue is resolved. I've completed my work, met my deadline but still no response when will I get paid from my employer. It's been more than 10 days since I've submitted my work and there's still no response. Will Upwork help me resolve this concern that I have?

Hi Jovelle,

I checked your account and can see that you have a fixed-price contract set-up with your client. Once you submit work for a fixed-price contract, your client has 14-days to review the work submitted and request for revisions. It is your client's discretion whether or not they want to release the payment earlier than the 14-day review period.

If your client doesn't request for revisions on the project, and the 14-day review period is up, the payment in escrow will automatically be paid to your account. It will be available to be withdrawn once the 5-day security period is up. You may read more about the billing cycle on this help article, and getting paid on fixed-price contracts in this help article.
