How to change fixed price for job?

We have posted a job, but quoted the wrong fixed price for the work in the job details setup. The actual payment advice was included in the description of the work. The applicants who applied are aware of the amended payment arrangements
How should we fix this, we have edited the job details, but this does not seem to change the fixed price when we try to hire an applicant.

Would it be better to cancel the job and start again?

Hi Peter,

You can end the contract and send a new offer to the freelancer with all the updated information. Or if you're ready to pay the freelancer, you have the option to release a partial amount. You can check this help article for more information.
