How to deal with so much competition as a newbie on Upwork

Hello beautiful people, I just recently joined Upwork last week and was wondering how newbies manage to survive in such a competitive working environment. I am a digital entrepreneur and the Ceo of ‘’Daily Digital’’ which is a digital marketing and design agency. Due to the whole covid crisis I decided to go freelance thinking it won’t be that hard to fit in specially when I have a whole team of highly experienced professionals working for me. I was shocked to see how competitive it is on all major freelance platforms and any offer I choose to send a proposal to already has plenty. How can I ever get an order when clients have much better options please help me out attaching a recent proposal I sent check if it could be better or kindly give any helpful advice

It's funny that the client mentions that freelancers show other people's work as their own and then can't deliver because they use other people's work as their own. Ayup, welcome to Upwork where that's not a bannable offense.

Hi Ahmed,

If you would like to work as a team you will need to open an agency and list all team members in your agency. An agency is a business that sells the services of multiple freelancers on Upwork. We've created a guide to agencies to help you decide if an agency is right for you. You can also check out this help article to learn more about agencies. To create an agency account on your existing account, please follow up instructions in this help article.

I would recommend that you check out these topics to help you create proposals that win jobs, and help you boost your career on Upwork:

Happy working!
