How to un-invite to save a spot for newly found better candidate

Today I was looking for someone with DialogFlow skills.

The basic plan offers 3 invites.

After invited a candidate, I found a better one thus needing to un-invite to open a spot.

How to uninvited? I had to experiment and use "decline", which turned out to have wasted 1 invite. Please help!

Hi Adam,

Currently, canceling/declining invitations will not make them available for you to re-use. To be able to send 15 invites per job post, you can upgrade to our Client Plus plan. To receive unlimited invites, you can upgrade your job post to a Featured Job for a one-time fee of $29.99.
