I am not receiving the verification email and hence cannot set up my profile

I've made an account with Upwork and I am stuck at the verification of my email step because I am not recieving any verification mails. I've tried for hours on end but even after requesting multiple resends, the mail just won't come. 

I've checked the junk folder and the spam folder and contact Gmail support too, and they tell me the mail never reached their servers. 

Can somebody help me resolve this issue please!

Hi Goutam,

 

I have checked your account and it looks like it doesn't need to be verified just yet. Please note that you will not be able to initiate the identity verification yourself and it cannot be requested. If the team finds the need for you to do it, you will receive an email detailing the instructions on how to complete your verification. However, you can start applying for jobs and there should not be any problem. Let me know if you need further assistance.

This is also my problem. I could not receive a confirmation email since last night. I tried again today but I don't see any emails from Upwork even in the spam/junk folder. Please help. Thanks!

I have tried several times and I am not receiving any of the verification emails, but I am receiving the marketing emails to the correct address. Nothing is going to spam and nothing is being blocked.

I can assure you that this is my email. I have not received a single request to verify this email and it is not going to my spam or being blocked.

Hi,

I am not receiving the verification email. I have been trying many times today. I have checked the junk folder. I have received a marketing email from upwork, but not the verification email. Also, the site seems to be glitching as the help center page goes away after about 1-2 seconds and I can not chat for help.
