Hello Upwork. I just made my profile today. I just had a very important question. I am originally from Iran. and I know people who live in Iran cant work with upwork. but I am Iranian living in turkey and I have a residence permit for turkey ( I can upload the photo of my Turkish id card). so my question is can I work here on upwork? I don't want to be in any troubles.my nationality is Iranian but I live in turkey with my husband. thanks for helping me!

they have told me there is no problem with working with a company based on us when you are living in another country. people in Iran cant work with the USA because of some political issues.
and I know upwork won't accept freelancers from Iran.
but my situation is different. only my nationality is from Iran.
I want to know does upwork take people based on the country they are legally living or based on their nationality.
