I can't edit my employment history to hide current/past employers

I am trying to hide my current and past employer names on my profile for privacy reasons. It allows me to change my company name to "Confidential," but then the "Save" option is grayed out (see attached screenshot). It will allow me to add/edit text, but then I can’t actually save any of my changes – I can only click “Cancel.” Can someone tell me why this is happening? Is this because I just created my profile today? Or could it be because I used my LinkedIn profile to pre-populate the fields?
