I can't see the Identity Verification option

Hi i created my account but i still don see in settings any identify veryfications buttons and dont get an mail about it. Please solve thats

Hi Jacek,

 

It doesn't look like you need to verify your account yet. The team will let you know if there is a need for any verification in the future. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to users of Upwork. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account with more information on how you can complete the verification process.

Hello Upwork Team,

I am a long-standing freelancer on Upwork, and I am facing challenges due to my account not being verified. This has affected my ability to receive orders from clients and the clarity of my proposals. I kindly request that my Upwork account be verified so that I can build trust in the platform and invest my time and resources accordingly.

I have attached evidence demonstrating that my proposals are not being viewed, which has significantly impacted my mental state and wasted my time. I respectfully request an opportunity to have my identity verified so that I can become a verified badge holder.

Hi, 

Verification has nothing to do with Job proposals viewed. You can probably start writing great proposals. 

 

Most of the time, Upwork send Verification Notification when you get a job by client. 

Please wait patiently and good luck with getting your first job.

Work as-is. You will be asked for verification later. In most of cases after first money received.

Hello, I am stuck on the email verification screen as well but I keep checking my inbox, spam and trash folders and I do not see any verification email from upwork.

Hey,

 

I didny receive free connects signing in so i just bought them and am now in talks for a project. My payment will be released tomorrow but upwork hasnt asked me to verify my id yet. Will this block me from withdrawing my pay to my local bank? My tax payer id has been verjfied though.

Hi Husen,

 

I checked and see here that you are not yet required to complete an ID verification process, but you can withdraw your funds once they are available without any issues. We are slowly rolling this option out to freelancers. When you become eligible, we’ll notify you when you log into our site. You’ll be asked to upload an official government ID and meet with us for a quick video call. Once you successfully verify your identity, a badge will be added to your Upwork profile.

 

Additionally, Upwork currently requires new freelancers to do one of two things before being able to submit a proposal for a job: subscribe to our Freelancer Plus membership plan for $20 USD a month, or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD. After you fulfill this requirement you will also receive 50 free Connects to further help you get started on Upwork.

I recently created an Upwork account two days ago and would like to inquire about its current status. Specifically, could you please confirm if my account has been approved? Additionally, am I eligible to submit proposals and begin earning money at this stage?

Furthermore, I have not yet received any email or notification regarding identity verification. Could you provide information on when this process will take place and what steps I need to follow?

Welcome to Upwork! We are thrilled to have you on board. I checked your profile and I am pleased to inform you that your account is already accepted. 

 

As a new freelancer on Upwork, you are required to do one of two things before being able to submit a proposal for a job: subscribe to our Freelancer Plus membership plan for $20 USD a month, or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD. You aren't required to verify your account at this time, Alexander; you can start submitting proposals if you wish. However, I'd recommend that you first take some time to get familiar with the basics here at Upwork. Below are a few Upwork Academy courses to help you get started:

Hi Muhammad,

 

checked and see that there’s no need for you to verify your identity yet which is why the verification tab in your settings is not visible at the moment. Currently, the verification cannot be requested but slowly being rolled out to users in Upwork

.Once it’s required for you, you will receive a notification in your account and via email with complete information and instructions to complete the identity verification process.

Hi everyone, I'm new here at Upwork. I have a question. I hope you can help me figure it out. My accounts are fully completed but still not verified, and I didn't receive any email instructions on how to verify my account. How long should I wait to receive a verification of my email? I also look out on YouTube for tutorials, but it's the same as waiting for an email. Anyone can advise me about Upwork freelancers to quick verify?

I appreciate how quickly you responded, and I thank you for that. I wanted to know if in three days I would have finished my profile, but when I try to apply or search for a job posting from the client, there isn't an "apply" button to click. How does that work?
