It doesn't look like you need to verify your account yet. The team will let you know if there is a need for any verification in the future. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to users of Upwork. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account with more information on how you can complete the verification process.

It been a while since I have created my account but I wasn't active on it for about a year. Now I tried to polish my account and win some jobs, but I realized that my account isn't verified yet and didn't recive any verifaction request from upwork, may be there is a chance they might send verifcation link. How do I verify my account now?

Hi everyone
Trying to have verification process done yesterday faced an ERROR 403(n) occuring each time I was trying to upload a file via my app. ChatBot was not helpful, failed even to create a ticket. Finally upon another try succeeded and my task is marked as "complete" altthough it went without attachtment. Ticket support needed.

Hi Nikola,
I recieved an offer from Enterprise client and a verification request. Upon doing verification, file attaching (of my ID)was conctantly failing, saying "Error 403n" . Ended upattaching nothing, but task is marked as "completed", unableto continue with further tasks

Thank you for sharing your concern about verifying your identity. I checked and see that Identity Verification is not required for you yet which is why the Identity Verification option settings in your account is not visible at the moment.
Currently, the verification cannot be requested but slowly being rolled out to users in Upwork. Once it’s required for you, you will receive a notification in your account and via email with complete information and instructions to complete the identity verification process.
