I can't see the Identity Verification option

Hi i created my account but i still don see in settings any identify veryfications buttons and dont get an mail about it. Please solve thats

It doesn't look like you need to verify your account yet. The team will let you know if there is a need for any verification in the future. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to users of Upwork. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account with more information on how you can complete the verification process.

  • Take a color photo of the front of your ID without using flash.
  • Place your ID on a flat surface and take the photo from directly above.
  • Ensure all four corners of your ID are visible in the photo.
  • The photo should be at least 200 dpi.
  • Save the photo in PNG, JPEG, PDF, or BMP format.
  • Do not crop, rotate, edit, or alter the image in any way.

Hi Ivygail J,

 

I have a problem with ID verification. I cannot see the ID verification section on the Upwork setting. I want to verify my identity because I have received no order and also no views on my Upwork project I didn't receive any response on the Upwork proposal which is why it is imported please solve my issue. Hi Nikola,

I have a problem with ID verification. there is no option in my Upwork setting of ID verification. please check it out what is the problem behind this?

Hi Muhammad,

Thank you for reaching us out. I checked and see that identity verification is not required for you yet which is why the identity verification option in your Settings is not visible at the moment. 

Currently, the verification cannot be requested but slowly being rolled out to users in Upwork. Once it’s required for you, you will receive a notification in your account and via email with complete information and instructions to complete the identity verification process.

My account created 2-3 month ago but I haven't received any response from upwork and not found any options to verify my account, also i am checking setting -> identity verification but this option is also not available.

I haven't received the verification email for my account. I've checked all folders, including spam.

I am unable to verify my account i didnt recieve any emails or anything as i read the guidlines i know that its after a week from account creation the team will send me the email to verify,also i didnt add any payments and or work alot on the account since i want to identity verify first if i pass it i will complete the rest just in case since i didnt get the visa card waiting till the  process completes , plus m goverment ID is handwritten technicly everything here locally is handwritten which it looks unacceptable how do i can pass the Identity verify

Ok thanks but what i just keep waiting??? or i need to do something like verify nything or do jobs to be noticed or just with time or something i need to know because i dont want to waste time on site if i am unable to verify for somereason

Hey just became a membership plus a weak ago,customized profile but unable to verify ID(I don't see the option). Please Help ,am annoyed 'cause I had already invested heavily but clients cant trust me since am not verified, I cant see the option either,**Edited for Community Guidelines**.
