I cannot log in to my account

I have an existing upwork account that I cannot log in to. I haven't used it in roughly 2 years. I had to make this account temporarily, witha spare email address, just to post on here.

I couldn't find an email to contact upwork directly, so resorted to posting on here.

The problem is that I have an account associated with my gmail, if I try to log in with that email via "continue with google" or just directly typing in the email, it says "oops username not recognised". So i tried my username (saved in google passwords so I know it's correct) and get the same response. So I assumed my account had been deleted, so I tried to sign up with my gmail email again, but was met with "sorry this email is already in use".

So I have the problem of my email not being recognised, but also appreanelty upwork have an account under my email.

What should I do?
