I didn't receive a text message verification code

I pushed the verify phone number button and have yet to receive my verication code. Will someone from the admin team please contact me.

Hi there,

I had made an Upwork profile in college, but I believe that account is still associated with my phone number. I have, unfortunately, discarded the password to that email. I am just hoping to either change the email of my old account or dissociate my phone number with the old account and start anew. Whichever option that works with your protocols will work for me. I'd be happy to verify ID with a specialist.

I appreciate your time in assisting with my stupid question and look forward to a solution at your convenience.

I am in the process of creating a new account on Upwork and setting up my profile. I am on the final step where it asks for your phone number and I am getting the error message that my phone number is already in use. I would like to know how I will be able to use my phone number on this current account for verification purposes. Thanks so much!

Hi I have a problem in getting paid because I choose "Get Paid" it will prompt a verification code to my old cellphone number which is almost lost. And I already edit my cellphone number in Upwork almost early in 3 months but they are not updating my cellphone number. Hello,

I live in England. However, I study in Romania for a few months at a time each year. As such I have a Romanian sim card and have kept this in despite being back in the UK as my package (with all of the loyalty bonuses I've accrued) is far superior to any I can get here within a similar budget.


Unfortunately, entering my UK address (which is my location for much, much more of the time) isn't allowing me to enter a phone number with a Romanian country code, however I don't wish to say that I live in Romania, as this is a) not wholly accurate, b) not permanent and c) frankly, I don't want it to affect my standing with any potential clients. 

Is there anything I can do?

I was changed my phone number. but forgot to change from upwork. Now everytime I want to go to setting upwork ask device authorisation by text message verification by previous number. But I don't have that number. What should I do?

My mobile number has changed and the account requires authorization by mobile.

How can I fix this problem? because it sends a text to my mobile and I can't use this number anymore.

You can fill out this form, so support can authenticate you and get you logged in again

I can log in but I can't go to settings, will the form fix this problem for me??

Im at the beginning of my free lance journey. I go through all the verification info, a pretty smooth process until i get to my phone number. I enter said number, unfortunately the error code received says the number I input is already in use! I scramble through all past emails I may have used for a previous registration, but to no result, i am unable to log in with a KNOWN email address or user name.

How can I get said number unregistered from this mysterious "preexisting" account?

Hi! Newbie here. 

 

I have my profile set up and was going to submit a job proposal. Then I was asked to enter my mobile number for a verification and I did. 

 

I received the code, entered it, but for some reason it wasn't recognized. 

So I tried to resend the pin and then it said that I "have requested a pin too many times" - untrue. 

I quit the page and tried again a few times. It said then that I "have attempted to change my phone number too many times". Also untrue. 


I am  not sure what the problem is here. Can anybody help, please?
