I don't understand a thing

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and just got a first job. I did as the contract said and I submitted my work right away. 

But I don't understand what is the next step? My client didn't give me any feedback..and what about a payout? How does it work?

Please someone help me, I am lost here.

Was the contract fixed-price or hourly?

If it was hourly, did you track your time with Upwork's time tracker?

If it was fixed-price, did you click the submit button on the contract page?

Thank You for a quick response! It was a fixed-price contract and I submitted it right away.

Look on the Reports page. The money should be on the In Review tab. It will stay there until the client approves it or until 14 days go by without the client doing anything. 

Click the "When will I get paid" link on that page for more details.
