Good Day Im new to upwork and I have a question if a client doesnt give you any work anymore for more than 2 weeks. What should I do ? Does it violate any rules in Upwork ?

Thank you for replying.

No, of course it does not violate any rules. You are a freelancer, the client does not have to send you any work....

leave the client be, if after a month or two there is still no sign of life send one final message, then close the contract yourself if there is no response.....

A client can decide at any time to stop asking you to do any work. A client can decide at any time to close a contract.

And YOU can decide at any time to quite working for a client. Neither side needs to get permission from anybody. No rules against any of this.

Upwork allows a LOT of freedom, and that's a good thing!
