I started a contact but had not maked working hours on upwork, would it be a problem to get my payme

Hello friends, i need help.

I started my contact on Upwork. It means i will get 8$ for 1 hour, work 5 hours in a week. I worked 1 hour during a day. Today is the 5th day of my work.  (i started 18.10.18 but worked on Saturday aslo). I am new on upwork and had not maked my working hours there. So i have a question, will i get my payment or not? should i wait to the end of the week?

Should i start new contract for 6 hours a week?

Hi Kate,

When you`re hired on hourly contracts you will need to track your time with our desktop app so that your client is billed for the time you have worked.
At this moment you have two options: you can let your client know that you haven't tracked your time and ask them to issue you a bonus payment or add manual hours on your contract if it is allowed.
Please keep in mind that our Upwork Hourly Protection does not cover manual time. I would also suggest to check out this thread and learn more about Upwork and how it works.
