I have completed the job and the client has approved to all the milestones but is still in view (the job is in progress), should I do something or my client to terminate the contract ?

Yes, you should prompt your client to close out the job. While closing it out, they'll be prompted to give you a review which helps your JSS (as long as they were satisfied). You should never really close out the job yourself unless you have to.
