I want to close my account

I want to close my account but I can't select "Close My Account" from my profile. I have no outstanding payments or projects. I would appreciate assistance in closing my account. Thank you!

Hi, 

Sorry to hear that. Before closing our account, I want to remind you that you may not be able to create an account again in Upwork. However, here is how to do it:

Click on the drop-down menu just right on your Avatar (Top right side of your "Find Work" page). Then,

Go to Settings, then Contact Info

Click the Close my account link

It will close your account. But before doing this, you need to be sure that you have no pending amounts and you withdraw all your submitted proposals, close all open contract.
