ID verification

A potential client is asking for ID verification before I begin work. I have not received an email/notification asking for it. Can the client initiate the ID verification?

Hi Crystal,

Unfortunately no, once you become eligible/required to verify your profile you will receive a notification. I would also like to clarify and confirm that you should not provide an ID to anyone else. Thank you.
