Hello, eveyone! Hope your holiday was great.

I cannot submit a proposal due to lack of ID verification. I do not have a drivers license or a state ID, but I do have my college ID, my social security number, a bank account, and my parents tax information. In order for me to get my state ID, I need my original birth certificate and there is a really long waiting list of requests for one. Is there some way I can verify my account without having my state ID yet? Thank you so much for your time.

To get your birth certificate, it might be faster to go to the Register of Deeds or the health department in the county where you were born. You can pay the state of NC an expedited fee and get it processed in 3 to 5 days.

I don't know if Upwork will validate your ID without an ID, but it seems highly unlikely. I mean why have the identification process if you don't require valid IDs?
