If I have a long term contract but want feedback as I go, is this possible?

I am trying to build my portfolio.  If I have a long term contract but want feedback as I go, is this possible?

No, it's not. But you could ask your client to break the job up at logical points, close the contract and then start a new contract. Much will depend on the kind of rapport you have with your client.

Exactly. I've done this with my clients, and some of my friends have done it too. Sometimes, if the job has changed, they will even change the name of the contract so that it looks like you're growing in your role.
