In the beginning, Should I master Upwork processes or my work that I offer?

Hello,

        I hope every one of you is in the best of health and safe as well.

I am completely overwhelmed by the process. So I am reaching out to this community for help.
To start as a freelancer on Upwork, I first thought to learn the skill that I want to sell (Article & Blog writer). But then I am feeling that there is no limit to learning and polishing yourself.

I have knowledge of the concepts of Good writing. So my question is:

Q: If I have the necessary knowledge to write well then should I start applying for jobs?
Q: There are a lot of videos explaining how to do the whole process (especially the funding process) theoretically. Are there real-time and live videos explaining them practically? If yes, then please send me its link. 

I have attached the Profile Pic with this message that I have uploaded on Upwork Account. Keeping in view that I crop it till shoulders and head, how would you rate it?
