That is not a question for the forum, that is a matter you need to take up with a tax consultant. I take it you have a work permit for the US, or it would be extremely unwise to post questions like this on a public forum. But aside from issues with the immigration people, you now have tempted the gods of upwork too, having declared your residency being in the US. Oh my. (Hint: your country needs to be set where you live. If you live in the US but have no work permit, you can't work. No work, no taxes to be paid. Problem solved.)
