Inviting a Freelancer

I am new to Upwork. I created a post and marked it invite only. I would like to invite a freelancer someone recommended. How does this work ?

You can search for the freelancer using the search tool. Or you can directly link to their profile page if somebody sent you a direct link.

While on the page, you can click on the "Invite To Job" button. It's a big green button.

You can use the pop-up control to specify one of your open jobs.
